Maps in Blogs

I have to say, after making my own timeline and viewing all examples of maps provided in the syllabus, I have a much better understanding of how much they really do lend to a deeper understanding of the content of the webpage. They were actually really cool. I liked how user friendly and interactive they were.

The page about slavery was a little overwhelming because there was so much information on the site, but they did do a good job of breaking it up into smaller pieces. My favorite website was culturalgardens.org.  It was very user friendly and the map was so simple to understand.  I like that they put a lot of interesting details into their map locations without it feeling overwhelming.
